The pipe, valve and fitting product group of Goodin Company is most often referred to as the “Industrial commercial department”. Our Industrial department customer service representatives will recommend product, process orders and quote material on request. We meet the piping needs of the plumbing, heating, refrigeration, manufacturing, fencing, gas distribution, and water well supply industries. Our inventory of steel pipe is made up of many types including black, galvanized, and coated; light wall and standard wall; extra heavy and double extra heavy; in threaded, grooved, plain end, and beveled end; and, sizes from 1/8 inch to 16 inch (depending on the type). To compliment our pipe inventory, we offer the services of our pipe fabrication shop in which we cut, thread, and groove steel pipe through 12 inch, and cast iron pipe through 10 inch. Larger sizes are available with either a torch or saw cut.

Our inventory of valves range in size and design. Gate, check, globe, ball, plug, needle, and butterfly valves are stocked in sizes from 1/8 to 12 inch. The valve body and trim materials must also meet special requirements. We stock valves made of cast iron, forged steel, bronze, ductile iron, plastic, cast steel, and stainless steel; and, with end configurations such as flange, screwed, sweat, and welded. An increasingly important part of our valve business includes actuated valves.

The third member of the Industrial line is the fitting, which is available as welded screwed, sweat, solvent weld, or flanged; and, as cast iron, malleable iron, steel, ductile iron, copper, brass, and plastic. We strive to meet the piping needs of original equipment manufacturers, utilities, mechanical contractors, and governmental agencies.
